Capalaba QLD

Capalaba is a suburb to the south-east of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, located in the Redland City local government area.

The suburb has two large shopping and commercial centres with a mall and bus station, and light industrial zones surrounded by residential streets and bushland. Surrounding suburbs include Alexandra Hills, Birkdale, Sheldon, also in Redland City, and Burbank and Chandler, both of which lie within Brisbane.

There are several major schools in Capalaba, including Coolnwynpin State Primary School, St Luke's Catholic School (both Prep to Grade 7), and Capalaba State College (Prep to Grade 12).

A multi-cinema movie-theatre can be found at Capalaba Central shopping centre. The Redland City Library and Council Chambers and the bus interchange station are also located on the Capalaba Central premises.
